Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

Over 72 Hours Prior to Charter

100% Refund

Entitled to: Total refund minus transaction fees

Processing Duration: 5-7 business days

Transaction Fee: €50 for credit card payments

Requirements: Needs to be requested formally via email or telephone

Within 24-72 Hours of Charter

50% Refund

Entitled to: Half the full price of the charter

Processing Duration: 7-10 business days

Transaction Fee: €25 deducted from the refund amount

Requirements: Legitimate reason required; subject to administrative fees

Less than 24 Hours to Charter

No Refund

Entitled to: No refunds provided

Exception: Emergent scenarios might be reviewed

Alternative: Charter credit might be issued at the discretion of the management

Requirements: Proof needed for emergency situations

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Policy

Your safety remains paramount. Should the weather conditions be deemed unsuitable for the charter by our certified captain, we offer the following flexible alternatives:

  • Complete Refund: If it's not feasible to reschedule, a full refund is offered
  • Rebook: You have the option to reschedule at no additional charge
  • Voucher for Charter: We can issue a charter voucher valid for one year from the original booking

Assessment of Weather Conditions

Our evaluation of the weather comprises:

  • Analysis of wind velocity and direction
  • Examination of sea states and surge magnitude
  • Forecasts for visibility and potential rainfall
  • Notifications and directives from the Coast Guard
  • Safety assessments by our professional captain

Decision Framework: Decisions regarding weather-related cancellations are made no less than 4 hours before the intended departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Extenuating Medical Circumstances

We recognize that unexpected medical issues can arise. Such instances may qualify for special consideration:

  • Sudden medical conditions or injuries necessitating hospitalization
  • Family bereavement
  • Urgent military summons or deployment
  • Mandatory court appearances or jury service
  • Impacts of natural calamities on travel plans

Requirements for Documentation

For an emergency refund, the following documents are required:

  • Official medical note or hospital records
  • Bereavement certification, if relevant
  • Military deployment orders
  • Legal summons or notice for jury duty
  • Public advisories or declarations of emergency

Review Process: Emergency refunds are attended to within 3-5 business days after receiving appropriate documentation.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Complications

If the booked yacht is not working and cannot be fixed:

  • Replacement Yacht: We will endeavor to offer an equivalent alternative
  • Total Refund: If replacement is not possible
  • Proportional Refund: If the alternative yacht is differently priced
  • Reward: We may provide additional compensation for the inconvenience

Crew Availability Issues

On the rare occasion that the certified crew is unavailable:

  • Efforts will be made to find substitute crew members
  • Complete refund if the charter cannot proceed
  • Option to reschedule at no extra cost

Refund Processing

Methods of Payment

Refunds will be reversed to the original method of payment used at the time of booking:

  • Credit Card Transactions: 5-7 business days for processing
  • Bank Wire Transactions: 7-10 business days for processing
  • Cash or Cheques: 3-5 business days for processing

Administrative Fees

Credit Card Transactions

€50 charge for cancellations proceeding 72 hours before.

Processing for Bank Transfers

€25 charge on all refunds via bank transfer

International Transaction Handling

Extra charges may be applicable for international transfers

Charter Credits

Issuance of Credits

Charter credits may be suggested as an alternate to cash refunds under specific conditions:

  • For cancellations within a short notice (under 24 hours)
  • For cancellations due to weather
  • For voluntary changes in scheduling
  • Due to disruptions in operation

Terms of Credits

  • Period of Validity: Valid for one year from the date of issue
  • Non-transferable: Cannot be passed on to others
  • Value: Corresponds to the full value of the charter (free of processing fees)
  • Application: Applicable towards any future charters available
  • Lapse Date: Extension not allowed beyond 12 months

Partial Service Refunds

Interruptions in Service

Should your charter experience disruptions or cuts shorter than the planned duration because of reasons under our control:

  • Refund proportionate to the undelivered services
  • Equivalent credit for a future charter
  • Supplementary services or benefit upgrades

Disturbances Originating from Guests

In the event that a charter ends prematurely due to guest behavior or breaching safety norms:

  • No reimbursement for the unfinished services
  • Outstanding fees must be settled in full
  • Subsequent expenses may be levied

Resolution of Disputes

Should there be any disagreement with a decision on refunds, you have the option to:

  • Request a reconsideration from our management
  • Submit further proof or documentation
  • Engage consumer support organizations
  • Seek legal courses as sanctioned by governing laws

  • Refunds are processed in €, notwithstanding the initial currency used for payment
  • Purchasing travel insurance is strongly advised
  • Notice of 30 days will be provided for any changes to this policy
  • Refunds are subject to the prevailing taxes and legal stipulations
